The Zeus All in one 3D Printer, Copier, Scanner and Fax machine!
A Kickstarter project that recently achieved its funding goal could represent the future of consumer 3D printing devices. Not only does the Zeus print items in 3D but it can scan real items and create 3D model files which can then be “faxed” to another Zeus device to be printed out. This feature is illustrated in the video with a small child scanning and faxing his playdough model to his Dad who is somewhere else and then the child’s father prints out the facsimile of the model. Cool Stuff.
